About Shyam Telelink Limited
Shyam Telelink is a joint venture company between Sistema (LSE: SSA) of Russia and Shyam Group of India. Sistema (LSE: SSA) has a controlling 73.71% stake in the venture. Shyam Telelink Limited has licenses and spectrum to provide mobile telephony services on the CDMA platform in all 22 circles across the country.
Shyam Telelink Limited (STL) launched it’s CDMA mobile services in the Rajasthan circle under the brand name ‘Rainbow’. The STL technology is based on world-class CDMA 1x Based Wireless Network Technology for Voice & Data Services on Mobile & Fixed Wireless Access Equipments supported by longest Reliable (Optical) Transport Network and the latest Switching System leading to Next Generation IMS Family with the most advanced and flexible Intelligent Network (IN). Beginning with Jaipur, STL is committed to role out pan- India operations. STL is an established player in the telecom circuit and is the first private telecom service provider in Rajasthan. The company also controls 100% of the local internet service provider Shyam Internet Ltd.
